The media, political opponents and many others have recently accused certain world leaders of lying. Most would agree that such an accusation is a serious one and one that should not be made lightly. So the UO puts forth the names of five world leaders as follows: President Bush, Prime Minister Blair, President Putin, President Chirac and President Kuchma.
Question: Which of these men are liars?
Qualifications: The question is a general one and may be answered as to one, any or all. Or a response may be none. Or, actually the answer may be a subjective one or even almost any response or comment a Reader desires to make on the subject as long as it relates to the general question.
The UO has been somewhat expansive in the description "world leaders". However in defining a liar we wish the Reader to use the first definition of the word "lie" found in Webster's New World College Dictionary, Fourth Edition which is as follows: "to make a statement that one knows is false, esp., with intent to deceive.
Readers' comments please (not necessarily brief).
